Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show Accepts Entries Submitted Online Via Equestrian Connect

Horse show committed to streamlining process for exhibitors.

The Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show (SCHS) today announced that exhibitors can now electronically submit their entries through Equestrian Connect.

Equestrian Connect is a web service for completing horse show entry forms online. Last year, exhibitors used the service to complete entry forms, but were required to print, sign and mail them with payment. Now, exhibitors can use their accounts to submit their entries with a click of their mouse. No more printing or mailing, or paying expensive overnight delivery charges.

Adele Einhorn, SCHS executive director, commented, “We are committed to offering the best services to our exhibitors. Last year, we were delighted with the entry forms we received through Equestrian Connect. They were legible, and our exhibitors told us they saved hours of time filling out forms for multiple horses and multiple weeks. We are thrilled to now offer those exhibitors the ability to submit entries electronically.

Barbara Phillips, Equestrian Connect co-founder, commented, “Online entries through our service is a natural next step. Exhibitors not only save time completing entries, they now save time and money by submitting them electronically – no more delivery costs, even when you wait until the last minute.”

Equestrian Connect is a two year old service with over 6,300 members that posts entry forms for over 800 USEF A/AA hunter/jumper shows nationally.

Kim Prince, of Snowbrook Farm in Hume, Virginia, used Equestrian Connect to complete her entry forms for the 2011 SCHS shows.  She commented, “I saved hours of time last year using Equestrian Connect, and loved how neat they looked. Electronic entries will be even better.  I appreciate the convenience that the horse show office is providing us, and hope many more shows follow their example.”

Equestrian Connect is available to exhibitors for a 45 day FREE trial. The trial doesn’t begin until the first entries are created. Once the trial is over, exhibitors have two pricing options: $49.99 for an annual subscription per horse, or $8.00 per entry form.
